  • What does MSAE do?

    We provide resources, knowledge, and advocacy for working in unique Montana communities all across the Big Sky!
    MSAE is a source of learning and networking for the executives and staff of Montana’s leading trade associations, professional membership societies, and other nonprofit organizations. 
  • What are the benefits of becoming a member?

    Becoming a member of MSAE gives you convenient access to study material for the Certified Association Executive (CAE) Exam, you will be included in our member directory, invited to our monthly educational and networking luncheons, and be able to distribute RFP’s for your organization to the MSAE membership.

  • What is the CAE Exam?

    The Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment.   • Do I have to be a CAE to join MSAE?

    Nope! While many of our members are Certified Association Executives, it is not a requirement for membership. Many of our members are business professionals who do not currently maintain a CAE certification.

  • Who are the members of MSAE?

    Our members represent the leading trade associations, professional membership societies, and other nonprofit organizations across the state of Montana. MSAE is a source of learning and networking to association and business professionals. 
    Many of our hospitality members also represent the premier locations for accommodations and convention centers in our state and are a great resource for those looking for a place to hold their next annual meeting or convention. 
  • What if I want to join part way through the fiscal year?

    Then you can! While all memberships expire at the end of our fiscal year (December 31st), if you are interested in joining mid-way through the year, just contact us and we will pro-rate your membership for the remaining portion of the year!
