2019-2020 Legislative Interim
2019 Co-op Campaign Academy
Montana’s Credit Unions (MCU), Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association (MECA), and their national counterparts are hosting a nonpartisan Co-op Campaign Academy to arm candidates with the tools needed for a successful campaign. This training (Nov. 4-9, 2019) is beneficial to anyone considering a run for local office or state legislature. Even those assisting as a campaign manager or volunteer coordinator can gain useful information for the campaign they are supporting. No matter the level of office or the party, they will provide candidates the proper resources to help in the political journey. Click here for the website and here for the flyer!

These include requiring electronic reporting, reporting thresholds, harassment, and further disclosure. MSAE testified in support of the analysis.
2019 Legislative Session
MSAE maintains a “preference list” of bills we track during the Session. It is only as complete as the last update. We may take a position and lobby some of these bills. Please check in frequently for the latest updates. If you would like more information on our legislative activity, please contact Board Chair Mac Minard or Executive Director Webb Brown.
MSAE produces the biennial “Lobbyist Directory” for each Session. This 10th edition does not represent every registered lobbyist. This online PDF includes corrections to the hard-copy version.
